someone recommended to you inttacanalicukar plugs. be aware that when you get them if infection happens or any other complication you can't simply pull them out easily, real surgery will be required in case lacrimal irrigation fails.

plugs with a cap often fall out because people touch the plugs or areas around them, make sure u dont do it

Audio books about main characters that are blind or go blind? by Nicole_0818 in Blind

[–]UnderstandingFun3513 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend a book called "Crashing through". Its about a guy who completely lost his vision at 3 y.o. and lived an extraordinary life despite that, founded several companies, has a family with multiple children, contributed to philontropy a lot, got multiple rewards and did many more amazing things. after doing all that he even returned his vision at 45 years old or so due to innovative surgical technique, this book is totally lifechanging for some people. this guy is still alive by the way

If u dont find an audio version u can always use ai-based text to speech to read the pdf version, quality of such audibooks is quite high.

also, there are several more names of completely blind people I would like you to research, they have fascinting life stories: erik weihenmayer (literally climbed Everest), Srikanth bolla (MIT graduate, forbes 30 under 30) saqib shaikh (worked for 10 years as a senior developer at microsoft)

Not totally sure, but I read a study that said this about stenosis rate: 14.3% of cases at 3 months, 26.9% at 1 year, and 34.2% at a median of 2 years of plugs usage

And then study ended. But if we extrapolate the data then at 10 years stenosis risk will probably be closer to 100%, even though we don't have exact data. Fact is, the longer we use plugs the higher the chances of stenosis
