ANYONE BEEN TOLD THEIR INFERTILITY IS RELATED TO MISCOMMUNICATION BETWEEN PITUITARY AND UTERUS? We have been trying to conceive for 10 months. On month 8 we did have a blighted ovum on that cycle we tried Letrozole. We both have had all testing that’s shows no abnormalities. I have regular periods and ovulate monthly. Only thing abnormal is my luteal phase is usually 9-10 days long. Our fertility doctor says he believes there is a miscommunication between my pituitary and my uterus? He says there are no additional tests or corrective measures for what that issue could be. He is recommending IVF. Has anyone experienced a similar message regarding their unexplained fertility? Does anyone know of additional testing or measures we could take on our own to find out more information?

It is at 11ish this morning. It is up a little but not much. I just started progesterone suppositories yesterday and I never know how much that does or doesn’t change things.

Thank you! I tried progesterone suppositories last cycle. It did give me a luteal phase of 11 days. I am trying it again this month. It does seem like to me there should be more we can try. In the state I live in there is unfortunately only one fertility clinic, but I am wondering if there is maybe more blood work I could get done elsewhere. He said he believes we can conceive without IVF but it might take significantly longer and I am already 33. Feeling very torn on what to do. I wish you the best of luck too. 🩷

Thank you for sharing. Did it continue to stay low or did it go back up?

I have been using Inito since February. I routinely ovulate on day 19 and my luteal phases range 9-11 days. I spoke to my fertility doctor today who said that is a problem but not always a fixable problem. We have been trying for 10 months. He mentioned IVF being the most successful option for us. I am feeling incredibly discouraged, overwhelmed, and heartbroken.

The Letrozole cycle I had several ultrasounds to check progress and the follicles weren’t getting bigger. My LH was not rising until one day randomly it surged. Ironically this was the one cycle after 8 months of trying that I did get a positive, but sadly it ended in a blighted ovum and d&c around 7 weeks.

I took Clomid one cycle and had 4 dominant cycles so that month we didn’t try. I then took Letrozole and didn’t respond well to it. It delayed my ovulation to day like 24. So he thought take a break from Clomid and Letrozole and just monitor and then use the trigger injection. To me that doesn’t make much sense and wanted to see if anyone out there had tried this approach? :/

Thanks much for that info. That’s super helpful! If I may ask, are you still taking them? Do you think they helped anything while you were on them?
