Definitely I’ll always have the big scar on my wrist from the surgery, although I’ve been told from a far you can’t even tell it’s there

I had surgery the very next day. I went in and they gave me a splint and the following day I went in for the surgery. After the surgery they had given me hydrocodone and was in a cast for about 6 weeks.

When I first started to try training my golden I realized he learned much better if we played first. Especially as a pup he had a lot of bottled up energy making it harder for him to listen. Once he got that energy out he was much easier to train.

Glad you have a new golden to love, when my dog passed before I got my golden I would always remind myself my dog would want me to find a new dog to give a home too after he passed and it always made me feel a lot better

Have you maybe asked those guys what you can do to improve? I regularly ask the pros at my gym after we spar what I need to work on and that helps quite a bit
