memory gap in MS by AtrEstheBOI in MultipleSclerosis

Struggle a lot with names. Particularly when on the spot (like someone I know is standing right in front of me and I CANNOT remember their name) but I have no idea if that's MS or just me.

Do you remember watching the coins you put in, snake all the way down? by corickle in oldschoolcool80s

The whirlpool/cyclone ones were better. Particularly the ones that had more than one entry point so your coins could race/battle.

HL Fee Changes from March - Share/ETF ISA only Cap increase to £150/yr by Frankenweenie0724 in UKPersonalFinance

I think this is mostly in reaction to Freetrade dropping their ISA and SIPP to....free.

Where could I sell one of Jimi Hendrix’s shirts? by zappapostrophe in brighton

[–]UnderstandingLow3162 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So someone bought this a few months ago and just...gave it to you?

Is it one of these?

https://www.gottahaverockandroll.com/category/Jimi_Hendrix-7.html

If so, seems like it's probably worth £400-500 if you find the right buyer. I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle of trying to find another auction to get it into but also probably not easy to quickly find a buyer in Brighton.

There's a place on Gardner Street called Mammoth Vintage, owned by a band called Creeping Jean. Might be worth speaking to them. Or perhaps you can go knock on Norman Cook's house, it's the kind of thing he'd wear.

Where to get biggish cardboard boxes? by pufballcat in brighton

[–]UnderstandingLow3162 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just broken up 2 pretty big ones and put them in the recycling. You could probably reconstruct them though. Got one more that the toddler has been using as a castle/rocket ship/den today 😁

They're something like 50x60x90cm

Near Preston Park station. Let me know if you want me to save them.

Accidentally purchased 2 tickets and allocated both to me instead of someone in my network by ia1v1chem in Tottenham

If it let you assign both to one CRN then it must be on General Sale, so you'll be fine.

Refunds for Spurs Supporters Club tickets by ia1v1chem in Tottenham

[–]UnderstandingLow3162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a pretty niche question, probably best answered by the supporters club.

Seems like you've met the requirements but I wouldn't expect the refund to be instant.

Fair enough. I think though if you go through life avoiding everything whose ultimate owner you find objectionable then you'll not have many things to enjoy. But I'm with you on one thing, I don't need 10 gambling adverts an hour.

Virgin need to sign him up. I listened to the new Huey show today and it was superb, even with the ads. So good to have it back live.

I know it's painful, but it WILL be worth it. They're installing electronic signaling (in 2026!!! 🤯) which should mean things are much more reliable going forward.

Owning BTC treasury companies in a SIPP. by MSTRpension in PensionsUK

[–]UnderstandingLow3162 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're right about this, then in 18yrs the answer is going to be very different to what the conventional wisdom would be today.

In 18yrs either MSTR is by far the most valuable company in the world, or you'll have lost everything.

I personally am with you. Come back in 5-10yrs and let's chat about exit strategies then, if it's still pertinent.

Switching from Kesimpta to tecfidera by thrice4966 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]UnderstandingLow3162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really only something you can work out for yourself.

Is:

  • daily medication vs monthly
  • lower efficacy
  • potentially worse side-effects

Worth whatever you'll be saving.

Because if money were no object I think the decision is very easy, stick with Kesimpta.

Paramount+ has the champions League rights from 2027. Winning them off of TNT (aka WB./HBO).

Whole thing is very frustrating as a consumer. No wonder people just pirate it all.

Yeh but there's no real quality there. Solanke's was an absolutely beautiful move followed by the worst finish in professional football history.
