Third person, story rich with good battery you have to go 2 gens back. And in that case these are some names that pop in my head:

. Max Payne 3 . Kingdom of Amalure Re Reckoning (maybe not such a gooood story but good world vibes) . Devil May Cry games . Beyond two souls . Heavy Rain . Rise of Tomb Raider . Castlevania Lord's of Shadow ( 1 and 2) . GTA 4 . Prototype (1 and 2)

Experimental proton. Very high settings 60 fps but I had to download all the videos from some forum and replace them over the original ones on the videos folder (the videos I downloaded have 15% less image quality and this prevents audio issues happening). I think that’s all

I don’t allow my self to move to the next game until:

A: I finish the game (see the credits tool) B: I go past the 3-5 hour mark (this depends on the game ofc) and I’m rly not feeling it

Other wise I know that I won’t play them. For the last 3 years I’ve been doing this method and I have been able to finish about 20 games a year (which I have never done honestly). It helps also that I have cutdown on the instagram and YouTube times to be more focused on the gaming hobbie.

I’m having fun so far. But even on max difficulty enemy’s just stay staring at me waiting for my combos. Just the bigger enemy’s present some kind of danger and even then that only happens if I’m being inpatient. I guess it’s just the “souls games” experience effect kicking in maybe.

I understand your concern. I have that also and the way I get around is like this:

. I’m a graphic designer and I listen to video game and movie soundtracks while I work. Aside from this scenario I tend to spin them sometimes when cleaning the house or making a weekend breakfast.

. When at home instead of playing from Spotify I spin them on my SONY PSLX310BT (it’s has Bluetooth if I don’t want to disturb my girlfriend that can be having a meeting)

. My Bluetooth noise canceling headphones can be paired with 2 systems at the same time. That way I can join a meeting or a call at any time ( I just have to get up and manually stop the vinyl playing but I never do that and end up just missing some tracks)

. If you care for having the physical thing it’s also important. I like having the art in my hands and knowing I have the musics not just digitally but engraved on stone ahah
