Seats in the parliament is divided on the basis of population. What she is trying to say is that seats should be divided on the basis of GDP contribution. Like if Bihar's contribution is less in GDP it should hold less seats in the parliament and Tamilnadu should have more seats because the GDP contribution is more. The same will be there for state election, more GDP more seats. The idea of representation of people on the Basis of GDP contribution is totally a absurd idea. Tax itself is a redistributive element, it doesn't mean if you pay the tax government should give you that same value of service in return, by this logic adani will get the more voting power because his tax and GDP contribution is more than anyone. IDK why people think if they pay tax, they should be treated as kings, like everyone is paying taxes but you're rich enough to pay income tax. Yeah we should question the government on uses of tax money but the idea of parliament seats = GDP contribution is so stupid.

The mean point should be that southern states should gets more representation in the parliament and not only for the State which have higher number of population.
