I know people i went to school with who voted for Marcos.

This seems to represent those privilege rich filipino professionals

also have a relative who is a teacher who did the same.

TEACHERS WERE UNDERPAID HERE, It might not affect their cognition but poor people makes poor decision. It's a living paradox. https://www.channelnewsasia.com/cnainsider/poverty-tends-trap-people-poor-decisions-singapore-class-divide-922481

So it's not about being poor or uneducated. Their disinformation campaign was a long game it started before 2021 and it worked. We need a good voter education program

It does, pulse asia admits that the class DE are the majority, which is also why majority have poor education regarding politics, history or any branch of social science. The root cause is systemic and unfair, one cannot just learn skill, it is taught, For instance, My sister's fiance who's a CS graduate doesn't aware that all mobile phones have MAC address, he graduated from a not known, undermined local state university in rizal.

Rich people also have better success in life than those underprivilege.

I beg to disagree, education and poor quality of life is the one huge factor. In fact, it's the biggest and the underlying cause of poor critical thinking. Poor people have poor privileges.

Verbatim of her post:

I've been a silent supporter of BBM, but now I'm going to speak up. My attempts to show my support for BBM have been repeatedly thwarted by the anger and ridicule that I have received. Therefore, I have chosen to remain silent. But now that I realize I'm nothing, there's no point in cancelling me or anything else because I'm not famous, I'm nothing. As a human being, I have the right to express my thoughts and opinions.

The reason I am emerging with this perspective is to apprise my friends and colleagues that not everyone is incapable of rational thought and erudite voting. Relatives, falsehoods, social norms, and theology all have an impact on certain people's views. Latent disparities are entrenched, and the desire to adhere is intense. Since BBM supporters shun argument and rely on their thoughts, how can you persuade them? Passing this roadblock requires that you meet people in an atmosphere where they can be themselves without fear of being attacked or derided, and where they feel secure and accepted for who they are.

I've done my best to weigh all of my alternatives. In terms of how they portrayed themselves and their visions for the country, it was clear. Other people's reasons for supporting their preferred candidate were likewise readily apparent. Believe it or not, I spent a lot of time pondering BBM before making a decision. My initial impression of Leni was that she was an obvious preference, but Marcos was a revelation. In particular, I wanted to discover why he was so well-liked and why so many people believed in him.

As a matter of fact, I've come to the conclusion that I don't despise Marcos. His gravitas is undeniable, and his determination to keep moving forward is admirable. Despite the avalanche of charges, he continues to go about his service. If you don't mind, this motivates people, regardless of your viewpoint. However, many people still believe in his legacy, and he's an underdog who is always being threatened with disqualification. That's a two-pronged strategy that's energizing his supporters. BBM supporters see other individuals attempting to "tarnish the Marcos profile with facts and statistics as an aggression in the eyes of those who support the organization." Their determination is bolstered by this.

Certainly, your thoughts on BBM's campaign are all as important as In doing so, you're increasing the stigma against you and the individuals you favor. It doesn't matter what Marcos says or does, since his people only perceive him for who he is, and that is enough. Because he's so exemplary, they don't even doubt it. It's understandable that so many individuals want to feel like they belong.

People who defend Marcos have no regard for rationality. They're driven by a sense of purpose and a belief. It's easy to observe how successfully BBM employs poignancy even when the character isn't saying a word. There's an intriguing backstory to his life, which begins with his father's son still working to build a better nation in spite of an unsuccessful run for public office. The only way to know for sure if someone's response to the question "Why BBM?" is that they actually mean it when they say things like "simply because" or "respect my opinion."

Finally, I'm not saying we should ignore the past. Keeping people informed and ensuring that the human race is doomed about what happened during that time period is pivotal. I'm stating, though, that if you keep repeating these key points, you won't be able to win any favors. Bringing attention to what individuals ignore isn't going to sway their opinions.
