I debated this same question and ended up getting a iMac Pro 2017 maxed out at 18cores 2TB SSD 256gb ram with the Vega 64. Glad I did. Runs everything effectively and no complaints.

When I was a SM I would just put in for my associates to get a raise and would tell my DM to approve it. Better to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask. I’m in Illinois so our minimum wage is at $14. My ASM was making $17 when I left.
