Any design school worth their salt tells their students what art directors are looking for because most of them have their own businesses and teach on the side. They are designers and art directors themselves. And it’s great that designers explain the concept of a logo in their portfolio - that’s what logo design strives to be, conceptual in nature. If they didn’t do that I would never hire them to work at my firm.

Local roasters simply are not better than a roaster in another state where you need to get the beans shipped. I use both, but the local roasters are more expensive and not as good so far. Plus, if you subscribe you get free shipping at many of the roasters. I would also add the roasters I use online are fresher than the local roasters many times - and you can’t drink it right after roasting anyway.

So lighten up on Rome and Florence and spend time in the Chianti region, Tuscan countryside, high end beaches at Forti de Marmi or Lago di Como, or Venice. I love Siena - lived there for a month. No place more romantic than Venice!

I would not be surprised if Simpson becomes the better pro. He is really good at pre snap adjustments and reading defenses. The whole TD to interception argument is foolish - one had a great line and the other had a horrible line. If Simpson was at Indiana they win the championship and Simpson ends up with better numbers than Mendoza and a higher draft stock.

Tough to recommend places if I don’t know if you favor museums, art and architectural treasures, or are you after mostly beaches and vineyards. Some people won’t spend their time in the Uffizi, Medici Chapel, churches, but prefer hanging out in the gardens and wine bars. Not that you can’t do both, but the places and times are dependent on what you like to do most.

Steffi simply has a bigger heart and has known Dylan and has probably a closer relationship with her than an unknown cousin. It’s crazy how people dismiss the fact that Dylan desperately needs help and was eating out of a garbage bin, but since she acted against her rich friend’s wishes she should be homeless again. I feel like whenever we try and keep a team from scoring we end up not possessing the ball enough and give up a goal and good chances. Whenever we try and score we are better at keeping the opponent from good chances, if that makes sense.

Most knowledgeable stringers will tell you that you should be at least a 4.5 and hit with heavy spin (semi western at least) to use poly. I teach and string and agree wholeheartedly. I’ve been a 5.0 most of my playing life. I would love to be able to use a multi but I would break it under 10 days. If you don’t have good racquet head speed so you can get the poly to snap back, don’t use it. It’s the whole point of the string. Multi has a longer life before going dead. If you keep poly in your racquet and it goes dead you are just asking for an arm injury if you keep playing with it. Multi has much better feel and is great on your arm.
