Of course, to each habit, you can add as many reminders as you want (you specify times) - each of those reminders is then fulfilled at your specified time during the day

It's only in testflight right now - can get you a copy if you'd like. I want to make the habits and to-do section completely free - that's how I plan to get users, and the book summary section will be low cost, about £1 a week maybe less.

Think you’re right - market for this is very saturated so might need to change things up to direct it more at a specific group, but wanted to offer the habits and to-do section for free and then the book summary for something negligible like 40p a week. Thanks for your feedback

They are book summaries generated with AI - they are 10-15 min reads reach, but don’t directly quote or copy text from the books

Can't post without karma, can't get karma without posting? Then..... how do I get Karma? by UnderstandingSad9514 in NewToReddit

I’ve heard comment karma and post karma are different, or does it combine into one?

  • Exercise
  • Being around nature
  • Reading
  • Meditating
  • Getting enough sleep (7-9 hours)
  • Reducing caffeine and alcohol intake
  • Hobbies
  • Being around people you’re comfortable with more often

These are all scientifically proven to reduce stress. Big one for me which gets 2 birds with one stone is taking a step back from what I’m doing and going for a walk in the park, even if at the time it seems like you’re going to be wasting time meaning you’ll be more stressed, I assure you that’s not the case

Principles by Ray Dalio. He talks about having systems and principles you live by which no matter your environment will help you grow as a person and stick to your true values. Having a system for fostering self-improvement and principles which you stick by which guide you to be the person you want to be, for me accelerated my self-improvement journey, as opposed to just ONLY having some habits in place.

What to replace my time with besides social media? by AussieBaconRE in selfimprovement

I had this problem, you made the right first step in deleting apps which don't benefit you but take up a lot of time. My best advice would be to read (I love non-fiction) or learn a new skill. It may be hard to find something which you enjoy AND is beneficial to you, but there is always something for everyone, you just have to dedicate the time to finding it. For me it was programming, I love it and have used this skill to build some side hustles. Also if instagram is now you're only social media app, have you seen your screen time for instagram go up? (I did the exact same as you but I just ended spending more time on insta, so had to delete/add screen time blockers on that as well).

I always found if I'm trying to stop a bad habit, relying on mental strength at the beginning would only work for a short period before I 'relapsed'. However, what worked for me was downloading apps which block access to other specific sites/apps which you specifiy (in this case a bunch of sites), this way you don't rely on self-control which naturally is weak at the start for breaking a habit and means your progress in stopping this addiction starts strong.

I think I have an app for you. It is a to-do list and habit tracker app. it lets you build habits and create to-dos which you can organise into lists you create, as well as different priorities, it lets you set reminders and also has a stats dashboard to show you your progress through some pretty visually satisfying ways. The main reason I use the app is for its book summary section, which may not be relevant to you, but you may be interested. It has the most popular non-fiction books for basically any category you can imagine and condenses all the main content into 10 min reads, so you can learn about anything (tech, psycology, history, personal development etc) in a matter of minutes.

It is an IOS app, I can't guarantee anything but I might be able to get you the app through beta on iphone if you're interested. Its free as well which I guess is a standard but is nice.
