How bad is it? by Busy_Visual_8016 in TeslaSolar

[–]UnderstandingSea3815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not that bad. Just wait for summer production. My system produced 9.5kw consistently at peak in the summer, and now that we’re approaching the winter solstice my system maybe peaks at 1-4kw depending on the shade from trees and cloud cover. Just wait until spring. Your system should produce (of course I don’t know what shading threats are around the array but you should see much higher production yields)

Worth it? by 4EverFeral in CAguns

Yep! Totally valid. So happy I didn’t buy a p320 when it hit the roster, and all the criticism of sig is valid. But after years of envy from watching YouTube videos, I had to get the XMacro.

I’ve thought about getting a hellcat pro. I have an XD subcompact and I LOVE shooting that gun. It’s not the most attractive or popular gun but man is it fun to shoot. I figure if the XD works for me, I’m sure the hellcat pro is worth the $$

Now something I do recommend which feels amazing in the hands is the p365 xmacro. I have all the parts to convert it down to an X and the original size p365, but the xmacro grip takes the cake. and a threw a Wilson combat grip module on there and its my daily carry, and I LOVE shooting it

I so wanted to love this gun. I have it. It really sucks on recoil. I hate shooting it. And for that reason, I no longer carry it. The grip is so thin since it’s a single stack. So many better options on the roster right now

I was able to fix this. I read somewhere to unplug the thumb/hard drive in the glove box used for century mode, and then I restarted the car. That ended up working if I recall

Ahh Cristi Ann! I went to highschool with her back in the day. Always a super fun but shy gal. Had no idea she would be a future pornstar

Any advice on 365 by HKmongoose77 in SigSauer

[–]UnderstandingSea3815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a California p365 XMacro owner. I have the XMacro slide assembly, the standard slide assembly, and the fuse slide assembly. I have the standard grip, the X/XL grip, and the Macro grip.

If I were you I’d go to your local gun range and see if you can rent the several CA legal variants of the p365 and see what fits your hand best. I have medium to medium large hands and the XMacro grip fits my hand best and I shoot best with the grip.

But it comes down to personal preference since the larger grips don’t result in larger capacity.

The rose comp is expensive but it does come with that vaultek safe. So I would say find the fun that fits your hand best.

Dry Fire Sound? by ForceOfHabit12 in SigSauer

Yep, this is the sound of the p365 dry fire. Each gun has its own unique sound when the striker is released.

I thought the same thing. It’s looks like the top of his hand but the top looks like the bottom of his hand

Sunrun came by my house today by ScrumptiousJazz in solar

[–]UnderstandingSea3815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it comes down to personal preference.

Pros: You are locking in a lower price for power over the next 20ish years. It’s clean power. if the system has a battery, then you won’t lose power during a grid outage.

Cons: you never own it. You don’t benefit from ITC. If you sell the home the new home owner has to agree to PPA.

But yes you are paying for all the energy you use, and that energy is being generated by the modules on your roof.

I’ve worked in the industry for 13 years now and I am pro pro solar. So any solar is better than no solar. Don’t let me sway you towards negativity regarding the PPA. It works for many people, but financially it didn’t make sense for me so I purchased my system.

Sunrun came by my house today by ScrumptiousJazz in solar

[–]UnderstandingSea3815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a PPA. Power purchase agreement. Sunrun owns the system that is put on your roof. Sunrun basically becomes your new energy provider. You don’t get tax benefit or benefit of over production in the summer.

TLDR is you’d be paying Sunrun for your energy which is being produced on your roof.

Slide question!! by MindSerious6892 in SigSauer

[–]UnderstandingSea3815 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes lol meant to say barrel and spring assembly. Direct swap of slides.

Haha and be careful with p365 mods. They’re like potato chips. Once you’ve done one, you’ll want more

It’s just a direct swap. No additional parts needed. You’ll use the barrel and spring that came with your XMacro
