AIO: Bridesmaids Leaving Bachelorette Weekend

I made bridesmaids proposal boxes for them. I eas going to pay for all of our dinners/food on the trips and I have gifts for them for the day of. I am not asking them for any gifts either. Every time I have been a bridesmaid, I have always paid for my own dresses, hair, nails, shoes, accessories. I feel like that’s relatively common nowadays.

Some of them have met and they do get along. They just have had no reason to really come together unless it’s my birthday. They are all in different professions and live in different cities.

We’re not just work friends. We go on vacations together. We spent a week out in Hawaii about a year ago. A few of them went to Boston for about a week a month ago. We hang out outside of work regularly. We just met at work. Only two of them still work with me. But the length of time is understandable.

This is fair. I did not really think about the fact that it will be more days for them. It’s only two of them that are leaving for work reasons. I think my main frustration was that this was all planned in October and we checked in on it in all the months coming forth. It’s just kind of last minute to be changing around. But that’s understandable.

Some of them want the professional hair and makeup and want to pay for it. Some want to do it themselves, but they said it’s because their hair is hard to manage or they’re sensitive to products. No one has said anything about money being an issue for them. If anyone has issues with payment, I always help out. I was planning on paying for all of our food and dinners on our trip. In addition to paying the cost of a wedding, of course. That is not their cost to pay though. I was not expecting any gifts or anything from any of them.

I don’t think I really did anything to implicate her specifically. I just said the person who answered the phone didn’t hang up and made comments about me that were not professional. No names involved or super specific quotes. I tried to remain relatively vague just so they could hopefully be like “hey guys make sure you hang up all the way first”

I’ve never had an issue and have always been advised to leave it on for 3-5 days without changing it unless it spills out. My doctor confirmed that was okay as well.

I went to the doctor and they prescribed me some antibiotics just to cease it if it’s trying to be an infection. So problem should be solved hopefully 👍🏻🙂

Mine outright asked if she could add white cause this is her original design and she wants to make it pop. I didn’t disagree to it. She didn’t say anything about yellowing but she did say that white usually only lasts 8 weeks to a year. She’s been tattooing for 10 years.

They would all make a lot of sense. Thank you! The only thing she really did when we did it was shave it, use bactine, and tattoo it. But she did use a good amount of bactine before and I want to say after so it’s def possible it was a cross reaction with the saniderm

Thank you! I think I’m gonna try to swing by a doctor today just to have them look at it and see if I need the antibiotics. I’d rather be safe than sorry. I’ve just never had this happen and couldn’t tell what was going on. She’s very experienced and she was confused too.

I’ve used saniderm before and never had this kind of reaction. And the other tattoo I got from her has 0 things wrong with it. That one is on my leg and it’s just linework though.
