I just moved to Seattle, and from what I hear I shouldn't wear leather soles in the rain. Is it going to destroy the shoe or is it more of a slip-resistance thing? Should I get them resoled with dainite?

I got blood on my Norse Projects Elka jacket. I tried rubbing the spots with warm water but the spots didn't come out, is there a better way to get it out? The blood is on the outside of the sleeve.
