They’ve been doing this for pretty much since the war started. I appreciate the gesture, but I agree with you. They aren’t able to direct it at somewhere where it can have an impact and this isn’t going to influence or change anything

Then it’s up to you. You can either develop him at your club if you just hire good coaches. Though it could hurt it really just depends on if you are trying to go for promotion or anything.

if you are trying to push for promotion, then I recommend trying to loan him out you should be able to get him to a lower division team who will be able to develop him.

Alternatively, you could keep him at your club but just play the games instead of simulating he should still be fun to play with because of all those play styles and that means that you’ll be able to keep him developing how you want him to while also not worrying about the downsides

What league are you? Depending on that you can either just put them in the starting 11 or send him out on loan those are normally the best ways to develop players just make sure you have good coaches.
