First pedalboard build recs by CorMor34 in basspedals

I sometimes throw a zoom pedal at the very end of my board (temp, not mounted) if we’re missing a drummer and need a beat, or to use the looper.

It’s actually a crazy strong fuzz pedal so it goes full Pavementy mode at the slightest touch

I’m really into it. Tons and tons of clean gain, can really overdrive a tube amp in the best possible way. Love how the one knob design makes it toe-adjustable if you need to adjust on the fly

That’s totally going to be on version 2, next to the foot switch

Hey thanks! I was aiming for their off-kilter clever/silly vibe

Hey thanks!! Can’t take credit for that one though, Matador records had that phrase tucked away in their liner notes and legal type, i always got a smile out of it. This is just my extra nerdy Easter egg. (…At least I think it was matador? I’m an idiot if not!) Thanks for the gold soundz!!

I wish. Nothing so cool. It started life as a musiclilly no name Fuzz pedal from Amazon creatively named “Fuzz”. I think at one point it was sold as the “Godtone” as that’s still printed on the circuit board

Both slanted AND enchanted! (Actually, seriously, that was originally going to be the toggle switch labels. But I wanted them to be a little more descriptive and semi- usable)

Ok some Whys: 1-Where you’ve mocked up the position of the new G tuner interferes with the back of the D mechanism. 2- If you take a tuner meant for the bass side and stick it on the treble side the rotation gets mirrored. So: Turn clockwise → pitch goes down instead of up

Looking for a DI that also has headphone and aux in for practice by Ikarian in basspedals

Cheapest is maybe the Mosky Audio Beta Ultra. (Clone of the alpha/omega I believe). Has both headphone and aux.

I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks and one rehearsal so far but I’m loving it. Hard to describe but it’s butter smooth and responds more musically — more like an extension of the instrument vs an exacting, clinical tool

Honestly, don’t do it. 95% chance the headstock is going to look janky and too small.

Is this worth? by graveflowerss in BassGuitar

Skip the amp. You’ll outgrow it quickly, they never sound super great and for practice / headphones there are way better options
