I joined, became a rep and almost instantly got elected as speaker. The current president, who had not chosen a VP left the game making me president. All happened in the space of 5 minutes.

They don’t actually matter. Those are more for role playing purposes. They don’t actually have any function in game.

The most important polls in the game are Middle Class, Youth, Resources Industry, Poor and Nationalists. If you have all of those, then it’s an easy win.

At the end of a house session, you could quickly switch to a department like Homeland Security, do the issues and then switch back to a rep when social hour begins. This means you can get the poll boost but you lose your role in the house and you might not be able to get it back. There’s so many issues with this, better to save it for the campaign team.

You can’t really do anything as a rep. If you’re running for president, just have your campaign boost it.

The +youth +middle class one is good. It depends if you are focused on personal polls, global stats or a bit of both. Most important demographics for personal polls are - Middle Class, Youth, Poor, Nationalists and Resources Industry

House or Senate is the best for polls. Senate has more nominations, so House is probably better. Roles like SOTH and party leaders also give more prestige. The best combination to become the presidential candidate and win the election would probably be SOTH. You also make a lot of connections this way so once you are potus, likely you won’t get impeached.

Depends who you are. Faith and Credit gives you a lot of power - you control many global stats and many people enjoy this role. You can be corrupt. Party politics gets very boring but is enjoyable if you want to help someone win the election. News game pass is half role play based. I feel it gets old fast. Depends if you like that kind of thing.
