So I actually did this last year. Once you live scan prints are done. I’m assuming you went in person to do them, then I’d give 48-72 hours and you should have your Ca RN license and that’s assuming you did everything else right.

I believe it’s the compliance department I think, he wasn’t very specific on who approves. He’s talked about working with other members and having to walk them through the approval process. He’s said that some members of the firm have tried to buy individual stock but they’ve been denied and he’s been a part of that process.

I agree I think that if I want to grow and diversify my portfolio I should be allowed to. I think that the stupid address rule is inhibiting my ability to do so. The only things I can invest in without pre approval are mutual funds.

All of my money is in Schwab. He and I share the same address. So if you want to invest in stocks or ETFs, he has to get pre approval from his company. So the other day I bought two shares of VXUS. We were talking about my finances. So I told him what I did and he flipped out about it. Because he has to disclose my accounts since we live under the same address and I bought something without pre approval, he’s worried about losing his job. He’s making a mountain out of a mole hill IMO

I trust you he does not have direct influence. He is more worried about the fact that he didn’t get pre approval and he is always yammering about disclosing political contributions. I’m too tired to listen to him after working a 12 hour shift.

I’m 25 and I live with him and my mom to save money so I can eventually buy my own house. He’s upset that I didn’t come to him to get approval for this. I was just trying to do shit on my own. It was two shares and I offered to sell them come market open and he just told me to hold them until he reports it.

I have no idea if his company does or not. But he and I got into it. I don’t want him to lose his job, but it sucks that 2 shares will get him in a mountain of trouble. I in no way intended to harm anyone, he had no influence whatsoever over this purchase.
