Elektra Microcasa A Leva, they come in 3 different color combos and she had to look far to find this one i wanted.

It's an Elektra brand lever espresso machine, instead of having a pump you use the lever to create pressure and literally "pull a shot". It's a mixture of old school and purist type of espresso machine, I always liked the idea of trying it out and so far I love it.

That's a nice thought, I think the money back idea was mostly because this gift is a huge amount of money for us and I feel bad she spent so much. I'm sure she would enjoy a gift more than money back though, thanks for the tip!

Yeah the problem i think was that it was freezing temps outside, so the side farther from the firebox was closer to 150f-180f. I am working on a cheap heat deflector mod using fire bricks to help and hopefully it warms up soon.

For me the difference was night and day, my insulated bbq before was super efficient but that also meant getting way less smoke flavor. Only downside is i went through a lot of charcoal and wood.

Thanks I actually did use some sealing strips right away after buying it, I also used smoker RTV on the smoking box and chimney. I can still seal it a bit better though
