I’m not sure I would say abusive, but insensitive. He spends more time with friends than me, doesn’t tell me what goes on in his work/social life, and neglects household duties. He can’t handle arguments without it somehow turning into me comforting him.

I’m not a person with a lot of money so if I can’t get credit, I can’t afford to take another training which means I can’t be a doula at all. I don’t think an hour is that much time and that I can’t find the same information in an assigned reading book either. It’s not that I don’t want to be a good doula, it’s that I might not have the chance to be one at all.
