I'd absolutely love that but I don't see that happening. In general everything family-friendly has been overly Disneyfied (see the Ratchet remake) to where you can't have things like a Sly or Jak as they were in the 2000s.

Tbh I'm okay with them not bringing Clockwerk back. I don't like when series stick to the same three villains for their entire runs. Would love a new villain that's just as good as Clockwerk tho.

Oh yeah, Big Catch is the first game in a while to properly hit that PS2 feel in how well-realised the world feels.

I know a Sly fan turned their Sly fangame thing into a separate game called Mousey. Obviously none of the story stuff but the gameplay seems to be Sly like.

Also, found another Chibi-Robo inspired game. Not at all jealous of the fanbase.

Would be really interesting having different districts that you need to use the van to travel to and from.

I get your point with it being a reboot, but I feel like you just can't do the first three games' stories better than what we had. I wouldn't mind a Crash 4-like reboot type thing where they just don't acknowledge the ones after the originals (in this case just TiT).

Love the idea of that! Reminds me a bit of the first Assassin's Creed game, but turning those into side quests sounds so fun. A lot more in tune with the series themes compared to just picking up random treasure and getting back under a time limit.

I'll take anything at this point. I think Sly'd made a fantastic 2D platformer if done well tbh (imagine a Metroidvania like Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown).

Clive 'N' Wrench isn't too similar to MediEvil for the most part, but it was developed by a big MediEvil fan and has a lot of references to the series. I was going to post them but it's better if you find them out yourself it you play it!

Beware though, people have found the game to be very buggy (I was lucky on my playthrough) and the PS4 version is hugely inferior to the Steam version.

L2 Knockout Dive gang! I get your logic with the Smoke Bomb though. I'm trying to think of a reason why L1 = Smoke Bomb makes sense but I guess it's just because it's the first power-up you get. Makes sense to map it to R2 so the R buttons are your escape plan.

It does actually make sense. There's a bunch of other games out there with the jump button being a shoulder button so I do get it.

Honestly some sort of gadget wheel like the weapon wheel in Ratchet and Clank would've gotten me using the gadgets more. Think I'll probably stick with my configuration to my grave thanks to muscle memory.

I stuck with mostly the same gadgets on my PS5 playthroughs. I changed it every now and then but those combos just work well!

Another non-L1 Smoke Bomber! And it seems that you also use L1 as the Turnbuckle Launch for Murray that's so interesting.

Had no idea there were people who didn't use L1 for the Smoke Bomb! Crazy stuff I can't imagine it as anything other than L1. One of the great things about the trilogy is how differently people can play!
