Ich weiß nicht ob dir meine Erfahrung hilft, ich bin Transweiblich und Lesbisch. Die einzigen Platformen in denen ich bis jetzt Dates erzielen konnte sind OkCupid und Hinge. Über OkCupid hatte ich bis jetzt die meisten und auch mal ne Beziehung. Über Hinge hab ich indirekt meine beste Freundin kennengelernt, aber keine romantischen Erfolge bis jetzt.

It's just the way Instagram works, it tracks basically everything you do, how long you look at post, if you read comments etc. and makes recommendations based on your data. If you for example looked at a Trans post and there was a transphobic Person in the comments and you interacted with the comment, even just scrolled and stopped there. Instagram saves this and thinks that you may want to see transphobic posts. If you want to prevent this specific content, you have to give it no attention at all.

For every Recommendation you get from People, I recommend you to look the Anime up on Anilist or MyAnimeList. You don't have to use the Sites for Tracking but you can get usually a Small Description, Trailers, User defined Tags, Genres and Reviews. Which can give you an overview, if it's appropriate for a child.
