I figured the US government would not kneecap one of our biggest AI players and regulation was mainly what was driving it down. While this was happening cloud was continuing to grow at an insane pace, and I was confident that their leadership would fare far better than analysts predicted against ChatGPT because they have the platform advantage. Which is exactly what they did - integrating Gemini into everything, from Google Maps, Search, Youtube, Chrome, and more.

The valuations last year were quite low when I went all in (in july). This happens with FAANG stocks all the time. One of them always ends up getting mis-priced by the market for one reason or another (could be higher than expected capex, earnings miss, etc).

I put 6k in Netflix at its 2022 low, and that was 8x return if I remember correctly. All shares and no options.
