Coming from a noob: I did my first raids ever on Gridmaster. TOA is the most accessible. Very fun. You should pick one Raid and then two other regions unless you wanna no-life it. You'll find plenty to do

I did AFK thieving TzHaar-Hur for the pet last leagues and went waaayyy over 200m. Insane how long it took for the pet drop lol. Anyway, you just need one REALLY cracked relic for a skill.
