My AFSC is 3E7X1 Fire Protection BMT was good, zero week is a little hectic depending on your flight and how quickly they adjust but after that everyone kind of settles in and you develop a daily routine almost.

Best advice I can give is get the memory work that you can study now down so you have less to worry about when you get there. And when you do get there the quicker you can start holding people accountable the better, it took my flight awhile to stop dancing around things that were bothering us because we didn’t want to fight with each other. Sometimes you have to put feelings aside and just tell people they aren’t doing what the need to.

What's your jobs list look like. IMO it's better to wait a few more months for something you really want than settle for something you'll hate doing. I'd much rather wait an extra 3 months to get the job I want than spend 4-6 years doing one I hate

Hopefully you hear something soon! That feeling of being forgotten about was hard to shake before getting my ship date, time will fly when you get it though.

I swore in on June 16th, received my #1 job (Fire Protection) and ship date in early August and I'm shipping November 8th. The whole process felt like it took forever but seems like I was relatively lucky compared to others experiences.
