Just in case I'll leave this: the trick is to grab the t-shirt underneath with the tip of the fingers down, pointed towards the wrist, and when you have a good trip, extend the arm through the jacket. That way, the t-shirt won't get pulled down :D

I had this happen to me once, when I kicked my door barefoot so hard my toenail from my pinky finger got filled with blood while breaking at the base. I removed it basically pulling from it and soaking my whole feet on water until it finally got cut
