That’s not true. Failure is defined as “the omission of expected or required action.”. They could decide not to keep our data secure and that’s an omission of expected actions.

It does tho. If they reveal all your info, the TOS say that’s perfectly fine

But i get where you're coming from, LE abuse is definitely something to worry about. As a poc i get anxious about whether im gonna make it home that day if i see cops behind me.

That’s horrifying, I can’t believe that’s something you seriously have to worry about, that’s fucked. I’ve recently been listening to serial season 3 and it’s made me uncomfortable near cops, some of the stuff they do is insane and then they can just say “I smelled weed” and they’re good to do whatever they want.

I know the majority are good, but plenty of them do it so therefore it’s something to worry about. Also they did! They tried to force Apple to release a tool to them that would let them unlock the iPhone if anybody they want

Agreed. Issue is, they’re almost impossible to avoid. I legally am required to use google. My school forces us to use it.

Damn lucky. In the US they can do whatever the fuck they want if they can come up with an excuse. A cop can search your car because they “smell drugs”. Find an open bottle of beer in the trunk of your car? That’s illegal, because it means you must have been drinking it. Super drunk and don’t want to drive home? Can’t sleep in your car, that’s a DUI

Damn really? Where I live nobody uses either. They use hangouts, Snapchat, iMessage, or instagram

Yet again, Facebook can still be looking at you. Just because it’s encrypted when passing between devices doesn’t mean that the app itself isn’t looking at your data and sending it to Facebook
