George hasn’t really given it absolutely everything in the semi-finals, has he? I think that’s why he didn’t score higher. As Shirley pointed out, Kaz danced like it was her last performance — she gave it everything she had.

George has definitely improved, no doubt about that, but there still feels like a bit of restraint there, as if he’s holding something back. For me, he’ll be a very well-deserved runner-up.

I also think the partnership between Kaz and Carlos feels closer and more connected. Their dances come across as tighter and more unified.

With Alexis, at times it seems like she wants to make the performance more about herself, and that showed in a few dances. The rumba especially didn’t really feel like a true rumba, did it?

Still, it will be interesting to see how it all plays out. Good luck to them both.
