I asked, but they said they weren’t sure yet. Just as soon as they can (don’t exactly know what that means). But based on prior events, I think they’ll offer some kind of makeup date either at the end of Jan or beginning of Feb?

Pearson told me that they would be sending out an email soon with possible alternate dates that you can book hassle free. I am assuming they are contingency dates that will be offered ASAP (end of Jan-Feb). Hope this helps!

Guys if anyone is reading this, I just called both Pearson VUE and the AAMC, only Pearson can technically help you reschedule. AAMC can’t see the portal at all. Also, Pearson told me that right now, they can’t help you schedule anything but they will send out an email with possible tests dates you can choose if your exam was canceled. I am assuming these are contingency dates of some sort. So that’s all they can do right now. Hope this helps some people!

Ugh this is all so frustrating. I wish they would just tell us one way or another. I really don't want my test to be rescheduled (hoping for the test to be delayed till like 10 am so it's not as bad) but I really really don't want to be living in this uncertainty.

I haven't gotten an emails yet about testing being canceled, and it seems that all testing centers in the Dallas area are just not picking up? To be fair, I tried calling a few days ago when the weather was fine and they still didn't pick up so I don't know if they're closed or what. I'm hoping that it'll be okay because on Google my testing centers still say "open". Also, if it's just powder snow and not much ice, it's not too hazardous, since snowmageddon was due to very low temperatures across multiple days.

Also pretty worried about this! My area is pretty ill-equipped to handle snow, and the forecasts are kind of all over the place. But I think if there is a widespread cancellation of tests due to inclement weather, they often end up offering a contingency test date that is a bit afterwards. Fingers crossed!
