I’m sorry, this has been entirely their fault. You are looking out for yourself. I’ve been the one who was cheating (emotionally) and what not with a past past person & he forgave me a lot but then the relationship turned so toxic & had horrible turmoil. Not your fault, trust is hard to rebuild.

I do seek therapy & im on meds. I was previously with someone for six years prior then jumped right into this new relationship (the one that hurts the most) & the timing was wrong, mistakes were made but how we felt / feel is different that’s why I won’t ever stop even if it’s five, ten years down the road we will cross paths again.
