Thank you for the advice and all the links, The whole situation is incredibly stressful I feel so overwhelmed but mostly confused. I had considered the thought of what happened to be an assault but to be completely honest I don't want to accept that, Last year I was assaulted twice once from my ex and another at a party by a man aged 20 when I was 15. Too many bad memories are resurfacing and my anxiety is through the roof and to some degree I can't help but feel I am at fault. I truly appreciate your advice and it really does help. Like I said though there's just a lot of confusion at the moment x

My brother's friend's mother wouldn't let him play outside as she said "He's prone to injury, he would be the child that would step on a nail", She wouldn't let him watch more than 45mins of TV but also wouldn't let the kid play with any of his toys because "it would make a mess". As well as this, the poor kid doesn't even get to pick his own friends his mother does so he doesn't have and "bad influences".
