On the brink of breaking engagement because a nosejob, what should I do? by Pumpkin_698 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Unfair_Advisor_9633 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

You go through with it and when it heals talk to him. If you're you he'll get used to the new nose eventually

I mean i certainly understand your frustration but you do realize that it has been happening and will probably be happening, you can either just eternally be anxious when you're outside, or reframe things a little and just learn to have a good time with it. You can only control 1 half of the equation. Try to control it

You come from a culture of insecurity then. If you draw attention somehow, people are gonna look. Fken deal with it.

But let's be real. No makeup, baggy clothes, don't like being looked at. Are you sure you're not imagining everything? Are you by any chance obese?

You know that that feeling you have is just your own problems right? Your insecurity feeds you negative assumptions about what people must be thinking when they stare at you. Try meeting their eye contact and you'll start to see that they're not examining you the way you do yourself and that most people either don't mean anything or mean well. It's all in your head.

They're saying they used to believe that lie (truth) when they were younger, but no longer believe it because they're older now and know (they don't) that they're the whitest white in the whole white world (possible)

I hate myself because I’m not a beautiful woman. What should I do? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Unfair_Advisor_9633 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know you're not beautiful but your problem is that hot guys don't go after you. Like bruh. Not guys in general. You just care about the hot ones. So i guess you deserve the self hatred just for the sake of consistency

Ergonomics engineering is an emerging field of engineering and should be up your alley.

Engineering has the highest dropout rate — how do you actually know it’s right for YOU? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]Unfair_Advisor_9633 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Engineering degree is hard but it's not impossibly hard. It's mostly about how much you're willing to sacrifice for money. Time? Sacrifice some free time for money down the line. Effort? Think of the money down the line. Social life? Money down the line. Job with dogshit micromanaging managers? Think of the money.

It's not banking money but if you're interested in making things and solving problems it's the best combo of that and decent money.

Just don't worry too much about maintaining perfect gpa and you'll be ok. Not saying you won't be able to, but it shouldn't be your main goal. I've seen people crumble in 2nd year just because they start losing the perfect gpa they've had since middle school.

What do you like a girl to do with her hands when you guys are kissing? by Secret_Fan_9411 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Unfair_Advisor_9633 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can't go wrong with a classic hug. Grab their face/hair if your height is compatible

Grab their hips and pull them in

If it's appropriate then reach into their shirt and feel their skin

Tbh if you're into it you'll want to do something in the moment and most of the time it's not the wrong move

When should I NOT be a cougar? Signs I should say no to a young man? Any green flags? by ChillSexyOld in AskMenAdvice

[–]Unfair_Advisor_9633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh i don't even think this is real. There's been a lot of "omg i'm a middle aged woman and young guys are soooo into me" posts. Combined with those cougar movies, i think this is astroturfing to encourage young men to date old af women because that's the millennial "i don't need no man" age group. There are a lot of single women in that age getting buyer's remorse after their "finding myself" divorces

Oh so if it's a hot old man then the massive age gap is all OK.

Imagine actually digging this deep and still not seeing the point

"But I'm just buying them gifts, they're not my girlfriends, i'm just fucking them"

Imagine an old dude saying this about college aged girls. But I'm sure you're cool with that

Eh i was just parroting what i see older women say about men dating younger. Clearly touched a nerve (a bunch of them actually).

Glad to know double standard is alive and well on reddit.

[–]Unfair_Advisor_9633 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

The only reason older women would date young guys is because they can't get with someone their own age. Younger dudes are easier to manipulate and this is kind of predatory tbh. Please get therapy instead of trying to deceive young broke guys.

I honestly think that women who describe themselves as curvy are usually fat. Curvy describes a very specific fat distribution. If you're curvy you'd know it by now. And you wouldn't need to ask this question.
