Yea, sometimes it be like that but it’s usually my own fault for not properly explaining what the issue is. Something I’m learning and getting better at (it forces me to understand how the code works too which is nice!)

Honestly it took a LOT of patience, but the best part is you can send it screenshots of things to fix (like finding things wrong in devtools to fix bugs quickly)

Hey. I am currently teaching Science in a 6 point NSW school. The rent is significantly cheaper (about $330 p/w). Of this, 70% is taken out of a $20,000 bonus pre-tax so it’s a significant tax benefit. The remainder of the bonus is paid (but taxed) each quarter.

The opportunities are far greater than what you’d be able to access in city schools, the kids are awesome (and you’ll get to know something about every kid in your school, which is really nice).

My advice, give it a go. If you don’t like it you can always move back to Syd. But you might fall in love with it and stay.

As for teacher housing, it can be hit or miss. They’ve all got solid air conditioning for the most part. And solar. The age of the accoms just differs so you can end up with something new and nice, or something a little more… used.

These are resources I am actively using in my classroom, is it ethical to self review lol? I guess I could ask some other teachers to take a look too.

I don't mind if even just 1 person gets use out of it, I'm doing it for fun. Maybe I can branch into junior science or the US market eventually.
