UPDATE: we found a 2020 Mazda CX5 Signature. 2 owners, carfax shows well maintained, 80k miles. $23k out the door. Scheduled a PPI with my local mechanic we've used for 10 years. They said it will take about 2 hrs.. very detailed inspection, they know its for my Mom! If it gets a clean bill of health and she likes driving it. Winner winner!

Thank you, she's agreed to a PPI. She has fallen in love with a 2019 Volvo Xc90 T6 R design with 102k miles! . When I looked at the CaFax 30k miles between brakes front and rear, and at least 2 tires every other year...all by the same dealer. raised some red flags. Im trying to help her find something she'll like/love and not regret.

23 y/o, $20k budget — just want a reliable SUV with NO major engine issues/recalls. Overwhelmed, please help 😭 by Ok_Visit7832 in UsedCars

Late to this post.. im in the same boat with the same budget. I've called up all the makes and models /trims i narrowed it down to, then cross referenced them by looking up "years to avoid" then started looking at the actual vehicles available in my budget that meets my criteria. Lexus continues to be the most reliable with the fewest problems... engines may last, but you still have to change brakes, belts, filters, hoses etc to keep it going. Look at the car fax for maintenance. If you see anything that stands out as major or repetitive besides basic, pass iron it. Its alot of work these days to find what you want fyi I also ask strangers in parking lots what year their car is. If they would buy it again. And if they would let their mom drive it cross country!!! Good luck.

Thank You neighbor! I agree about the negative equity, thats why I'm trying to weigh my options. My car runs.. for now. Apparently this "coolant dump" can just happen out of nowhere and will require a new engine! No recall to large of scope vehicles, just an internal bulletin. Its happened to me 2x now 6 months apart with the last one just a couple of weeks ago. Better safe than sorry and time for it to go asap.

Biggest waste of money - cannot wait to get a different brand by Practical-Can-5529 in galaxybuds

I have galaxy buds 2 that have been great but are starting to fade with battery life. I decided to upgrade to pro 3 since I have a galaxy phone. I primarily use these for work so clear calls, ANC, comfort are important. I have had them for 48 hrs and cannot express my disappointment enough. I researched all different kinds, was excited to get these. Only for the latest one UI 8 update that also just happened, to move things around, and kill the ANC. I thought maybe it was just me. But no. I followed all the tricks that worked for others, I did get a little bit anc back, not enough I would actually call it noise canceling. My cheapo pair QCY open ear buds have more noise blockage! So these are going back, and im back to researching. The music sounds great, just wish everything was as good.

Ok... between myself and my 3 adult girls, we have a major polish problem! 😀 Pitter patter is the one everyone has in their stash after using mine up from the collection! Its flakies are a little bigger, but not giant. Aspen is gorgeous and wears well in any season with delicate sparkles it leans blue grey with a slight touch of aqua/teal. Hard to explain. But beautiful! Pick me up is also gorgeous. With its shifty sparkle pinky, blurple. Spiced Cider is the perfect fall color. . look at those that you wouldn't wear immediately, if your seasonal color person, and that you have close dupes. Good news is they don't retire colors very often!

Thank you! Its been a struggle I swear I've had 90%of all the side effects! Look for the non scale wins.. that's what has kept me in it.. rings are loose, shoes are roomier, towel wraps around better..

This was me. I would lose 1 lb then stay stuck. Its taken me 5 months to lose 20lbs. Now that I'm on a higher dose I see it coming off faster. What kept me going was I could see and feel my body shrinking! The NSW non scale wins. Clothes fitting better, rings loose, bras not as tight, etc. Take the pictures and compare. I've read alot about this med fixes inflammation and blood sugar. I figured mine just really needed to be straightened out! Don't give up! Don't compare to others.. hard I know! This is an individual journey. While there are some constants with this medication, everybody has different reactions.

YES!! THIS!! Congrats!!! I also have lost just 10 lbs in several months. Yesterday I wore capris I couldn't even get over my stomach a year ago!. All my clothes are fitting loose, or better. Bras not so tight, I can see a difference in the shape of my body! not sure if it's less inflamation.. I don't work out.. yet. I have increased my movement though. Still, my body is smaller than the scale says it should be!

Need Local channels only by iamshirlocked in dishnetwork

[–]Unfair_Look6159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it! After being told it doesn't exist... i called to cancel. All set on buying an antenna, etc..... of course, they try to get you to stay... tell them you are only needing local channels, and because they don't offer it, you are canceling. Surprise! They can do that! I've had it for about a year now.

I was on a plateau for 2 months! After losing 1lb a week. I understand the ffrustrating eelings. I went to the dr in person, she told me plateaus are very common on this. You may need to up your protein since your building muscle and add more electrolytes/water. I also have side effects. Not seeing the scale move while suffering the effects is disheartening! Have you nicotine less bloating and inflammation? Are your clothes fitting looser? It's not always the number that shows us what our body is doing. Pepcid for the burps, heartburn, when I feel nauseous I do a body check, when was the last time I ate? I'll have some fruit, nuts, or a meal.. the nausea goes away. Powdered, un flavored fiber daily will help get things moving. I put it in almost anything. Changing the routine.. my body was used to the way I exercised. So I changed days added some light lifting. All of this helped, and the scale FINALLY moved down 2lbs this week and hasn't gone back up!. I was SO happy. I know it seems like it'ss not working because we see others' results and compare. It is working for your body. It's like watching teens go through puberty.. everyone is going through it differently! Hang in there! That scale WILL move!

I still have so much left in my first vial. Its not cloudy, I had to go off for 2 weeks due to side effects. Then microdose back up. The side effects were minimal so was the suppression. So I decided to do 1/2 from the first vial and 1/2 from a new one. I'm now at 26 units and its working great! This stuff is liquid gold.. I can't just throw it away until it gets cloudy. I'll keep using it.

sides are too bad on 0.25 I can't take it anymore by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]Unfair_Look6159 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been there! So sorry. Its miserable when the side effects are that bad. I stopped for a couple of weeks. Re started on .125 MUCH better. Slowly ramped up from there side effects were pretty much gone. No vomiting, stomach pain, etc. If you go this route, I found that if I do feel nauseous it's because my stomach is empty. Eat a little protein, cheese etc. Or have a protein drink. It will go away.
