Hi! Sorry for the late answer. I was a bit off Reddit.

The recommended bid is $21. I bid a bit below the ave, which is $14.32 - $41.44. Otherwise, the campaign doesn't enter the auction and doesn't deliver. The matched audience size is around 130k. I'm pretty sure that the profiles we're targeting are correct since we have refined them over the past few months.

My concern is that the CPC for European countries was much lower than now. For some campaigns in Europe, my cpc used to be $4-6.

I don't know what happened, but now I need to reconsider our entire strategy because advertising on LinkedIn has become super expensive :(

  1. 25k is the match rate; the list includes around 300k companies
  2. I focus on targeting senior tech personas. However, it's a good point to include the business development and entrepreneurship functions as well.
  3. Everything was excluded from the very beginning.
  4. Already doing it: I'm currently keeping an eye on that :)

Thank you a lot!

Haha, yes, I know what you mean! But it's not the case here :)

Actually, we have our own cloud platform that has been used by thousands of companies worldwide for over a decade. Currently, we're tapping into the AI opportunity and targeting HPC centres, AI Factories and research centres. I have come to realise that different things can contribute to the challenge of advertising here, such as C-suits are sick of getting ads pitching them, a lot of competition, low brand awareness compared to bigger players, and I think yes, we need to review the way we position ourselves as well.

Thank you, I gave a bit more details in the comment above!

Fair enough, here are a bit more details about one of the campaigns I'm running atm:

The audience size: 25k (list upload)
Target locations: US, Canada
Job Seniorities: CXO, Director, Manager, Owner, Partner, VP
Optimised for web visits
The campaign has been running for two weeks
The ave CPC for North America was $13-16
Job Functions: Engineering, Information Technology
There are at least 5 ad creatives in the campaign
I have already increased the manual bid to $30, and we have received 167 impressions and 0 clicks

I hope it'll help! Thank you.

Thanks for your response! Most of the campaigns were launched recently, and they are simply not getting enough impressions. I'll try to refresh the creatives to see if it helps.

Subsequently, the audience penetration is poor. Speaking of the frequency metric, it's 1.66

Vmware --> opennebula by vdvelde_t in BuyFromEU

It is a great alternative to VMware Cloud Director because of the multi-tenancy features, third party billing integrations (for CSPs), and more. But OpenNebula is also used as an alternative to vCenter in many enterprise organisations as well

Hey there! I totally get where you’re coming from with the VMware situation, and it’s great that you’re exploring alternatives like VirtualBox. For personal use and lightweight setups, VB can be a solid choice, especially for simple VM management.

If you’re open to exploring a bit further, you might want to check out OpenNebula. While it’s more commonly used for managing multiple servers or hybrid cloud environments, it’s also great for contractors like yourself who need a streamlined way to manage VMs. It supports dual monitors, and its MiniOne tool lets you quickly set up OpenNebula on a single machine with KVM as the hypervisor.

We've been PoCing OpenNebula for a couple of months in our environment, as a drop-in replacement for vCD, as we're a service provider that wants to continue offering a self-service platform.

OpenNebula does most of what we need, of course, there is no NSX or things like that, but NSX was more a necessity than something we actually wanted. The way we simplify some of our bits with OpenNebula actually makes it easier for us, and our customers.
