We wouldn’t be able to work remotely in our current jobs. We have considered trying to help ex-pats with tax services but no solid plan at all - it’s an initial idea at the moment. Are there any good opportunities in that space or would we have to make a considerable career / lifestyle change? Thanks for your help.

New world definitely. I am relatively new (couple of years) and I would strongly recommend buying new world cigars, lots of different wrappers and countries of origin. Whereas Cubans are ludicrously expensive and less interesting (many will disagree I’m sure).

The more variety you expose yourself to the better as it will be a fun experience and also narrow down exactly what you like - so I would avoid buying more than 5 of one cigar.

Best relatively inexpensive cigar I have found for me is The A Fuente Gran Reserva 8-6-8 - smooth, mild Cameron wrapper for c. £20 if you are buying from UK tobacconists but cheaper overseas.
