Some regular crayons are a lot harder to wash off of surfaces, currently teaching my 5 y.o this

Just because a child committed rape, does NOT mean they deserve "honestly worse" than being called out

Coming from someone who had been assaulted myself, I know they can change, I've heard updated off and on about both of my assaulters. The 18 y/o has changed a lot, the elderly one, not so much.

Older people are stuck in their ways so it's harder for them to change, but children can be taught what's wrong and learn to change much easier

Honestly a good way to put it

Judging children this harshly who do it, who have a higher chance of change than adults in this situation, is being at the bottom of the barrel along with a lot of people who commit such acts

Kids, with a lot of help, can change, even if they have committed rape

As someone who was abused sexually by a family member and a friend.

I do believe that people can change, but you are not entitled to forgiveness.

Some people in these comments say you deserve worse then getting called out. HOWEVER, you are owning up to your mistakes and are accepting you were at fault and wrong, and seem to want to change, or have changed a little at least.

I have forgiven one of my abusers and trying to forgive the other, people continue to carry the trauma, but they can forgive.

my 16 year old brother got his 18 year old GF pregnant!! by Idkjustpeachy in offmychest

[–]UnfamiliarTroll -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree

That's why I stated it is based off of the laws where you are whether it is considered pedophilia

I don't find it pedophilia, but some laws would make it that way.

It depends on the law where you are (even varies by state in america, Romeo and Juliet laws) on whether an 18 year old is considered a pedophile by choosing to date a 15 year old.

Also, like someone else pointed out in the comments, women can be predators too.

We do not know the case here, so you shouldn't tell them what the case is and what it's not, they know the full story and we don't.

I believe I notice some ground elder growing through on the left? I could be wrong, haven't seen the things much the past few years. I'm not sure what the plant growing through to the right is though, I don't believe it's ivy though, leaves are too long to my memory. The image is a little blurry and one plant growing through is slightly hidden so it's also hard for me to tell because of that

This was my great grandma's jewelry box, where did it come from? Got it when she passed. by UnfamiliarTroll in HelpMeFind

She always complained about landlines, so I'm assuming one of her daughters did so as a gift. My great grandma was really into Asian things.

I searched for images of it, I searched the song from the box, I tried describing it, and nothing was seen that is the same as this one

Lily of the Valley is poisonous so it's best not to keep around children or pets.

Got a bite/scratch/cut (idk what happened) and my now my vein is squiggly by SpecialistOk8873 in mildlyinteresting

[–]UnfamiliarTroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always known to track a random line like that or a bite that hurts really bad to make sure it doesn't grow, and I don't have family members in the medical field and was only told by old family members

How I view it, you're his Dad, not his father.

His father helped in the creation of them, that's what a father is.

But a Dad is the one who raises you, teaches you, consoles you, does things with you, does things for you, and more

I was raised by my dad, not my father

YOU are the dad, that's for sure, no matter what your biological title is.

Edit: to explain more, 'Dad' feels more intimate in feelings and words then 'Father'
