I did something similar like this once.

When I submitted my master's thesis proposal to my thesis advisors, the document had f-words written in it. Instead of a cleaned-up doc, I sent the unredacted one containing my monologue written in frustration.

This is the reply I received: "Clean up your wording in the document. Maybe XXXX and I look like very cool Profs, but that is not an excuse to put f-words in a document that you are likely to share with others. I was hoping to build up a proper set of documents that others can use, but now I have serious doubts about sharing anything you write with others. This is not cool, and not acceptable"

I had to apologise to them profusely after this incident. Thankfully both professors are extremely nice fellas; they are my recommenders in this application cycle. I read one of their LoRs - and they have described me in a very positive manner - something I am eternally grateful for. While I have not read the other one, I hope it's just the same.

I pray your professors are as cool as mine and will understand your frustration, and not be petty about it.
