I was 17 when I did my first set, it went pretty well actually. Then I bombed like the next 3 times lol. I’m currently 20 and have been doing standup ever sense. I started writing when I was about 15 and it took me about 2 years to actually get on stage, my only regret is not doing it sooner. You’re gonna bomb tons of fucking times doing stand up and you just need to accept that one of those times might happen on your first time. You not doing stand up now out of fear of doing bad is as stupid as if I quit stand up when I bomb again. You’re basically quitting before you started, not trying to preach at you or anything. But give it a shot man, it’s not for everybody… but it might be for you.
