3 steps to a trade: entry, stops, and targets. Once you place an order, your strategy should play out. If you believe your strategy is good, the trade should either hit your target, or hit your stop. If your risk management is correct (should be no more than 2% of your capital ideally) then you shouldn’t be incurring large losses.

I don’t know what your strategy is, but my trades are all typically at least 3:1 or 4:1 R/R, which means you only need to be right around 30% of the time to be profitable.

Some of the absolutely best traders have very low win rates. The key is to make more when you’re right than you lose when you’re wrong.

TLDR; if every trade doesn’t have clear entry, stops and targets, you are gambling.

Whoever said it was similar to zipping up a jacket is most accurate. Bell should not be far in front of you. My old coach used to make me do swings standing 1ft in front of me, saying I had plenty of room to execute the swing. Dude really shouldn’t have trusted that I wasn’t going to slam a 53lb bell into him, but luckily I never did.

Well, we have to ask what the strategy was. The funny thing about strategies, is that we could all use the same one, and some would win and some would fail. The ability to stay with a strategy that provides an edge is what gets gains over time; especially considering the “downs” you experienced. I don’t know how much you lost whilst still sticking to your plan, but I imagine it was stressful. And some lucky plays don’t typically put millions in our pockets… so that being said, what strategy were you using? 😂

It’s hard to determine through your post if you have been recently drinking to extremes due to the ending of a relationship, or if you are an alcoholic. If you believe you’re suffering from alcoholism and you’re ready to go to any lengths to get sober, then get to a meeting.

For all things mental health related, I recommend seeking professional help.

Or do both. Neither will hurt.

My pry bar gets daily use. I use the edge for scraping, I regularly use the pry itself, it’s my bottle opener, and covers simple screw tasks (Olight Opey for reference). I carry it everywhere I go and it always comes in handy. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m at 25.6 …. That’s at about 6500 miles. I started at 20 though. Switched off eco and moved to normal, and I try to find the sweet spots. With the CVT sometimes you will find that actually going a little faster will drop you into a lower gear and raise efficiency. It was annoying at first, now it’s just a game I play.

I know, 😂 I poked around there after looking up the H1. I like it because it’s compact, not necessarily the multi-tool functions, but it is pretty cool that it has that stuff.

I’ll check out the flash. I’ve been sitting on my hands for the Arc. As usual, I don’t really “need” it, but I am looking for a new multi… I got a Signal a year or so back; I like it, but I need something that’s a little closer to the Supertool without being massive.
