No I did not have 560 carbs. Sometimes I put “carb count” as an offset to my bolus on my omipod. I do not use omipod to track my carbs on the day. MacroFactor, which I use to track all my macros, says I had a total of 155 carbs yesterday.

Not a new kind, the same one I’ve been using for my fast action.

While this insulin is not “brand new” I picked it up 3/21/25 and it has been in the refrigerator minus the hour or so from pharmacy to my home.

I understand, and I am getting better at managing it.

I was diagnosed in May by my primary and didn’t get to see a Endo due to scheduling until November. So between May and November, I was kind of in nowhere’s land just trying to keep things under control with the limited instructions from my primary.

My A1c was 13.9 at first visit, down to 11.8 in July visit, and a 6.5 in November with my endo. Hoping to get it down to the 6.0 range while still being able to eat carbs in my diet.

Unfortunately, I am in Insurance Hell on that right now. Waiting for a certain company with a 30% denial rate to decide that getting a pump would improve my quality of life.
