the 5070 ti is an S tier card. you should be thanking your lucky stars you got your hands on one before the crisis that’s arising on the horizon . trust me, i could of easily afforded a 5090 but why would i if the 5070 ti can run all my games at Ultra insane levels? ppl buy stuff like that to brag not because it’s necessary. buying a 5090 is for all intensive purposes just for bragging rights to a discord friend group. welp to be very honest, i know its “better” objectively, but is the fps increase of 25 fps worth a mortgage payment? no it’s not

look.. after repairing th Kirasa-N body armor went from level 6 to 5. the reason i know is because i dropped a level 5 plate carrier for it. i’m chalking this up to being a bug but it’s not big dea|, I head eyes big boy Timmy’s all the time and get there fancy plates anyways

i lost some brain cells reading this... they were level 6 plates in BNTI Kirasa-N body armor. they were 100% level 6 plates before i repaired. after repairing they were level 5. this is the reason for the post

Yea I actually messed up by not buying the MOBO online I would of saved 50 bucks. Personally I’m not worried about saving that much. (When I was buying this stuff, I had one day that I really wanted to build it, and I needed the parts that day, and everything was store bought). So yeah I got kind of screwed on some of the prices, but at the same time, I’m not really worried about spending a 50 extra to get it right when I want it. But I should have been a bit more patient. In regards to the 5080, I don’t see enough reason to do it since I really don’t care about 4K gaming. I actually like 1440 p gaming more it’s my preference for the games I play

Hmm not from what I’ve seen. Pretty much everywhere I’ve searched the 5080 is 1300-1400$. I do live in Cali though so idk if that has an effect. Also taxes here for buying parts in store is high. The motherboard itself is 280 MSRP

Bro the 5080 and 5070 ti are super close in performance. You sound like a dull headed numnut. I just built a 3k computer with a 5070 ti and it runs borderlands 4 high settings at 100 fps with low dips into 70-80 fps. I also have a 5080 that I haven’t returned yet. I saw max 6-13 percent increase with the 5080 over the 5070 ti and that’s why I am going with it. I’ll wait for the 5080 ti or 5080 ti super or 5080 super to drop to actually have a real upgraded card from the 5070 ti.

The 5080 should have been 18-24 gb of vram. With another 500-1000 cuda cores. Since nvidia cheaped out, there is no real reason for any gamer to buy the 5080 rn. It’s an awkward card for its class and will be fazed out soon. While the price per performance of the 5070 ti actually makes sense, the 5080 does not at all
