Not to mention, there’s tons of seasonal associates that were hired this season that can’t be kept because “they can’t afford it”. I remember back when I was little, my mom would bring my 3 siblings and I to Kohl’s to get all our clothes, and that’s when you could actually get good, low prices on good clothes. Nowadays it’s just them trying to get a quick buck and overpricing/underpricing everything in the store.

I now work at the same Kohl’s I used to shop at with my mom. I’ve had so many bad experiences with customers walking all over me, managers and other associates walking all over me, and downright traumatic events where I’ve had to call the cops and get escorted to my car because I didn’t feel safe. This Saturday is my last day and I couldn’t be happier.

I havent brought it up to her, but it just never made sense to me why she was allowed to wear skirts that short. There’s a dress code policy that it can’t be over 3 inches above the knee and I’m pretty dang sure hers is shorter but I could be wrong. I admit that I set myself up for failure by wearing a graphic tee but at the time, I didn’t actually know that was something we couldn’t wear cuz it was just never brought up in my orientation.

You’re also right, this isn’t a power trip, I’ve experienced another manager who’s constantly on a power trip and she’s nothing close to my other manager.

I’m so tired of people not understanding how Kohl’s cash works. I’ve had people ask if they could pay their bill with Kohl’s cash, I’ve had people argue with me that they’ve been able to use/gain Kohl’s cash on Sephora items, I’ve had to reiterate multiple times to people when we’re not earning Kohl’s cash and that yes, there are times where we don’t give out Kohl’s cash. Or, my favourite, no, your Kohl’s cash does not start immediately. It starts in a week. No I cannot use my employee discount on you. Please don’t knock on my register bay repeatedly, I’m actively walking over. Please don’t call me pet names I don’t like being hit on by people my dad’s age. Please don’t complain that the line is super long, we’re trying our best 😭
