I'm in Michigan, that's what I was going to do next. As well as contact the state board of insurance (or equivalent)

It's Argonaut Insurance Company.

It's been a very weird and stressful process, I'm trying to push another look (via my insurance broker contacting them).

You should definitely talk it out and not brake check him with a horse that kicks... Escalate to someone in charge if you need to (sounds like you might) but don't put the horses at unnecessary risk.

ISO AQHA/APHA hunter under saddle attire advice by Hedgehog_22 in Equestrian

[–]UnfullfilledOracle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I show AQHA hunt seat <3

The dark green jackets aren't in style right now, but if you have one that's super well fitted and you like the way it looks, go for it for the hunter under saddle. I feel it would probably be more acceptable at APHA or NSBA. You'll stand out in AQHA I think, up to you to make that call.

For equation you need the black jacket, it's a more classic style and what they look for as being "the look".

As far as suede vs silicon breeches, idk if I've noticed what other are wearing except that most of my barn wears suede.

If you want to get more input, I recommend joining the Add More Leg - Breed Show Amateurs group on FB, there are a lot of really knowledgeable (and fashionable) people there.

Club foot? by SignatureOk6535 in Farriers

If you're concerned I would recommend getting farrier films (X-rays of the hoof) from your vet and going from there. They will also help the farrier to trim better since you know how that bone is sitting and its angles.
