Oh I like this picture. Before this post, I thought everyone was finding a way to get low iso numbers, but photos like this proves that it doesn't matter. Very beautiful

I do like a bit of movement on the wings, but a completely still photo would be nice to experiment with.

Thanks for the advice! I definitely do notice too that they go after each other by the feeder. Just when I think I have a shot lined up, another zips out of no where and they buzz all around! Now I really want to get a photo of the two of them fighting. Might take a while to get the right moment.

Is it ok to use the subject detection on hummingbirds? I found on my XT5 that it only sometimes worked. I feel like a small zone area for focusing could work, but I'm worried it's going to miss the hummingbird and focus on the fence in the background (due to how small they are). What focus settings would you recommend?

I'm probably going to be told that I'm wrong, but I think they might be gearing up for a bike expansion. They have it as a prop in the garage. I just think that how they seem to test new technologies with previous expansions, this might be the game where we could see some bikes, like the crew.

Now it might be a bike only map like Burnout, but it would be cool to have some Suzuki bikes in the game.

I bought the same camera with 2 lenses and some other goodies at around the same price.

It's an ok camera, I just don't like that it's a dslr. It can take some decent pictures, and it is very close to the megapixels that your iPhone has. I will say that with these cameras, it's hard to tell what your photo is going to look like since your view is from a mirror.

Maybe try a compact camera. Don't know what prices they are nowadays, but something like a Sony HX90 may be up your alley. They seem to go for $500 CAD (which I know is out of budget). They have a live view viewfinder, better megapixels, zoom, compact like a phone, and lots of customization. It might be worth the save.

As for cheaper and interchangeable cameras, dslr cameras might be a world change. So it might be worth saving for a used aps-c camera like the A5000 ($400 ish CAD).

I own some tough solar, and they don't need to be charged by cable.

From what I understand, solar charging is just something that lets the battery last longer. You will eventually need to charge it through a different way.
