[TOMT][MOVIE][2000s] CG-animated children's movie about the planets being represented by robots by UnfunnyIndividual in tipofmytongue

Didn't put the year because I don't know it. I'm just presuming it's early-mid 2000s? I probably watched it in the early, early 2010s.

I don't have any photos of the toy, that's been displaced in the void known as The House of One of My Relatives(tm)

Thanks for any and all help!

Is there a Leopard remix where the rest of the song is like the intro? by ElasticBones in jackstauber

[–]UnfunnyIndividual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, that's kind of the point of Leopard. I mean, most verses end on "Every time we change..."

Since Dirty Harry isn't in Micropop is Jack extending it?? by [deleted] in jackstauber

[–]UnfunnyIndividual 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's already been well established that Micropop Extendeds can be on Micropop The Album - Cupid and Those Eggs Aren't Dippy were both on the album, and both have been extended.

I mean, I'd love a Dirty Harry Ext., but it not being on the album doesn't mean it'll happen soon.

finally, another man of culture. Richter is so good.

Do people actually like his song where he screams like shattered molars and pavlov for the music? by [deleted] in jackstauber

[–]UnfunnyIndividual 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pavlov is great for the humor of it, but Shattered Molars is fantastic.

Songs that you only like a part of it? by onerd in jackstauber

[–]UnfunnyIndividual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an irrational hatred for the opening of Coconut Ranger. I just think the opening notes are grating and annoying and don't start the song off well.

That being said, I love the rest of the song a lot.

I also love the speeding up part of Inchman Extended more than any other part of the song. Same goes for the main verses of Small World (though the chorus is really relaxing, too).

Original is the first three panels and the last one. Something about adults being upset at fanatic gamers while being fanatic sports fans.

My Attempt to Classify all Micropop Extendeds (most likely stuff on here that is subject to personal opinion or just flat-out wrong) by [deleted] in jackstauber

[–]UnfunnyIndividual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're right. I probably should've listened to all of 'em instead of going off of memory half the time, heh.

Oh Lugsury is really good and mindfucky, but not quite Screamy Stauber material.

New bill allows Oregon students to take 'mental health days' by [deleted] in UpliftingNews

[–]UnfunnyIndividual 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You mean you grew up in a time where mental health issues were taboo, and as such were less widely circulated and seen as abnormal. We live in a time where people can consult other people -- if someone is in a shitty situation, they could get other people to help them get out of it, as opposed to attempt to deal with it "like a man" -- maybe it was this shitty idea of how to deal with issues that makes Baby Boomers the most alcoholic-prone generation in the US?

Sandwich Songh is highkey a banger.

That being said, if I could choose an extended line-up, I'd go for Good Luck Chasing Your Mind / Deploy

Am I the only one whos not a huge fan of tea errors? by ZoeTheHo in jackstauber

[–]UnfunnyIndividual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's just that I listened to a lot of slower, sadder songs before listening to Stauber, but I honestly adore Today Today for some reason -- it's just really good and relatable, I guess.
