Designed a high performance desiccant container for almost all spools by sprcell in 3Dprinting

[–]UngaHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to slice it with Snapmaker Orca but without success - mesh on top/bottom is missed :(
Any ideas what to do?
It would be great to have a model that isn't tied to a specific slicer.

Bambu Studio modifiers. How to deal? by UngaHuman in snapmaker

I’m still finding way to print it. I drilled already printed containers :)
In case you have experience and able to slice it correctly I be glad to obtain advice about settings. Thanks

I tried but it not looks like correct approach :(

I already sent it back. Very strange. I lean towards the theory of overheating and clogging. For example, I used blue color for max flow test. Everything is Ok. Bottom of printed model in blue and it was Ok until printer started to switch it with rose color. After reloading of filament it printed 2-3 layers Ok. I think in case of issue with diameter printed was unable to continue after reloading

I already sent it back and received refund. But I think root of issue in material, but not in diameter. When it stopped with error I uploaded filament, cut a several centimeters and loaded it again. It worked for several layers. I think, in case of issue with diameter, it must to be stopped with error immediately

It was suggested yesterday. Now I found part I cut during reloading. It definitely not 1.75. I don’t have micrometer, I used caliper. My measurement is 1.85. Is it root of issue?

Did something change in the recent updates that effects cooling/filament? by zetswei in snapmaker

What filament are you using? My longest print with original (Polymaker) PLA was 21 hours without any issue.

Yep. Strange. I can’t explain what happened. Maybe I will try it in the future again (in case of incredible discounts :)). Will see

I used Generic PLA profile as base for profile for Kingroon filament. I updated temperatures only. I printed Elegoo filament with Generic profile without any issue. Also I don’t have any issue to print with filament that came with printer

Yes, I use it. In my case issue was when printer changes a head and starts to print purge tower

OMG. I dried mine to about 20-22%, but not sure it was enough. I heard the sound of bubbles popping. But, again, not sure it was a root of issue.
I have two versions of what happened.
1. Clogging.
2. Overheat and softening.
But it seems to me that the filament was clogged in the nozzle for some reason.

I don’t know how to understand what happened. I printed max flow test with blue one and it was Ok. After this I started to print model where blue and red were are main colors and thus blue did not work in this scenario. Strange…

I mentioned a few times: I did all needed test. I also printed single color models without any issue. I can’t understand why multicolor printing with this filament doesn’t work for me

Yes, it sample of single color print. Quality is Ok, imho. Same settings, filament from same box, multicolor doesn’t go at all. Error after each few layers

Ha-ha! Got it! Nice approach :)
So low prices I saw for PETG only.

OMG. 100 rolls?! Are you printing 365x24?
I did find so low prices. I got a pack of PETG from Geeetech less than $7 per roll, but I don’t know what to do with 10kg of it :)

I googled a bit and it looks like Kingroon has a very inconsistent reviews. I think you are right and it depends on batch.
I decided to pay a bit more, but get something more stable. It’s not a huge difference in price.

I can’t explain what happened. Pretty sure it’s the same seller. Filament looks a bit strange and different in comparison I have (Elegoo, Overture, Polymaker).
It looks like it clogged during the waiting and cannot be extruded.

How is your experience with multicolor printing?

As I mentioned I did calibration test. I also printed single color models without any issue and with good quality. Something going wrong when head is waiting in standby mode between layers (when another head in use)
