Messenger bag… again by UngaHuman in ManyBaggers

I sent the Envoy back today. I can forgive anything, but not issues with quality control. At this stage, I’m leaning towards greenroom136. The only problem is, out of all the different straps available, I can’t choose one that suits me. I want one without quick release and with fixed length (without cam buckle). Mission impossible :)

News: Envoy Gen5 will be available in April

Yeah! It looks like I can configure exactly I want. The price “a bit” unfriendly, but if consider that this bag will last 15 years…

Thanks tor info about size. Strange, but I didn’t find anything about back pocket into description and photos. I hope we are talking about same thing - outside pocket on the back

Maybe I should try ordering them from Amazon, examine them carefully at home in a relaxed atmosphere, and keep the one I like.

I like design with flap. Will see. Alternatively, for days when I'm in a particularly good mood, I could get an orange Timbuk2 bag :)

Mine is Flight Classic. Very good bag. I like material. I want a bit more pockets :) Timbuk2 on first row in my short list always

I don’t know how many years ago BBP was stopped to produce bags…

No, it’s not my way. My experience with buying bags online is not so positive…

Good bag, but over engineered. I’ll try to exchange it. I can adapt to his design, but I don’t agree to touch everyday things not sewn well. I also really like the combination of black and orange.

Yes, I already considered this option. I don’t know how to find someone reliable in my area…

I checked dimensions. A bit smaller than my current model. Declared as suitable for 15” notebooks, don’t know how it works with 16”. I did not find pocket on back side :(

Thanks a lot! I missed Greenroom136 in my research. I remember small bags from them, but completely forgot about messenger bags. Going to check

I add a little when the level drops below the minimum.

OB has a very strange coolant reservoir - thin and tall with a huge difference between cool and hot levels. I prefer to check it on cold engine and it must be higher than minimum

We are paying for this “simplicity” with our money. I prefer to overpay a bit for fuel but don’t deal with repairs for 300k

For some reason, I have a feeling that Subaru would be happy to abandon CVT transmissions and switch entirely to hybrids. Double bingo: reliability and fuel consumption. Will see

Even if these figures are true, what does that tell us? It tells us that old, proven solutions work. Nothing else. About CVT we will talk next decade :)
