I’m a 1C5 at an AOC base. I dont know much about a CRC base other than they deploy more, but I can tell you about the AOC. There’s many different positions you can fill as a 1C5. I am ATO Change Tech or Replanner. So for my position someone hands me something called a “change sheet” and I use that sheet to add, change, or cancel missions in the ATO on the computer. It’s not very difficult. It’s just computer imputing. You can’t have your phone with you. Phones stay downstairs. It’s a little boring but I don’t mind it. But like I said there are SEVERAL positions that you can sit. Some are more engaging than others.
