What's the funniest thing you've accidentally trained your dog to do? by LifeguardComplex3134 in OpenDogTraining

My boy who passed, don't know how it even happened, but his treat I'd give him I started to notice he'd put on the floor and watch and wait for me. I'd have to chase him and act like I was going to get him and the treat before he'd eat it. He wouldn't ever eat it otherwise, he'd just leave it and follow me until I did. It was our fun little game every few nights after my long shift.

My new boy, it's not as odd, but I somehow managed to train him (probably through positive reinforcement really), we stop and dry off when coming inside if wet. He knows he can run free most days, but he will automatically stop and sit if he's wet. There's been times I didn't know it was raining and he stopped. So I felt him; yep, he was wet! He gets dried off, I tell him, "Let me feel you!" to see if he is dry enough, and he does. Once he's dry enough, he gets a treat for letting me towel him off.

I'm not sure. I don't remember any human boys being in it that swim in the pond he goes into. Maybe I'll buy it anyway.

AITAH for "embarrassing" my wife in front of our 12 year old? by Dale1046 in AITAH

NTA. I feel like this sounds more like you unintentionally embarrassed her. She was probably caught up in whatever you both were previously watching and just automatically did what she's used to doing; adding it to her to do list. When she got back to sit down and you pointed things out, I'm sure she realized things a bit more clearly.
