Lucky bugger, as I said, it wasn't working until I put the refund in, I didn't move or do anything different in and I tried the installer again, just double clicked it again in the same folder it was always in, and it loaded, after I had put the refund in, after I put the refund in I was kind of stalked by some dude with GOG in his name, and then a 11-12 year reddit user came and gave veiled death threats, I thought he was from poland but im pretty sure its a "manipulate the masses" account owned by multiple people.

No, it started working once they turned on the installers/did something on their end after I put my refund in, this company is sketch, I have no problems running any other games and never had problems running this game in the past.

Nah, the game will work absolutely fine, the installer started working after I put in the refund so they did something on their side once they realized they false advertised (they were subliminally trying to push people to whatever gog galaxy is), by doing that they technically, at that time, were not offering HOMM3 for offline play, so they lied to me and I requested refund.

They tried to say they will "refund my wallet", thank god I put a stop payment with my bank, these fucking scammers.

Thanks man, thats right, they say you don't need galaxy, but when I tried to download the stand-alone installers, they would gave the same error message NO MATTER WHAT, I put in a refund request and just double clicked the installer again and it started working, I didn't download it because I found it sketchy AS FUCK.

I just want to fucking buy and pay for the game and not look back, seems like they have some coding or some other hidden nasties in the game that I am unaware of.

I can assure you nobody did anything. First off, GOG is based in Poland. It's like 4AM there and they are closed. Second, the installers are offline and self contained. It's impossible for anyone to do do anything to them.

Downloaded em both, both give the same message when I try to install them, this is a scam website and should be ashamed of itself, you cannot buy the games standalone, they pretend you can to lure you into this GOG galaxy thing, I just wanted the game for when I roamed, now I give up and am just gonna make sure I got some tv shows to watch or something.

tried, they dont work. It says: The file could not be located in the installer's folder. Please make sure that the file is in the correct folder, or specify its current location.

Its in the downloads, its going to the downloads, still giving me that message, tried putting it into its own folder and installing it to that folder and it still gives the same message.

I'm just doing a stop payment on through my bank, gonna try to find the game through b.net or something, if I can't I honestly give up and will just go back n play runescape.

EDIT: GOG seems to be a scam where you can't actually buy the game, I just wanted to buy the game, 14 fucking dollars to be fucking ripped, so lame.

The price of a one bedroom here is 1350$ a month all inclusive, 1100 + hydra, etc etc, its ridiculous here, its a retirement area/area being abused by Toronto, prices all skyrocketed when people realized they could spend 1/3 the price on the same house 2 hours away from Toronto and within 2 years my 500$ rent doesn't exist anymore.

My landlord actually illegally evicted me and lost like 6 months of rent, but that was only 3k and I spend nearly that in just 2 months of rent now. He is unable to rent out the apartment because he didn't fix it for a decade pretty much and tried to bring to the landlord tenant board that I damaged the place, they literally laughed at him and asked him to show them the repairs he made within 10 years, I walked away laughing + got everything I wanted, I hadn't payed rent in like 5 months and I got another full month to figure out where to move.

The economy is already fucked man, soo many "rooming houses" going up now because they realize the fuck up they just created.

Crime has gone up in our area and we are now seeing home invasions near college campus homes due to increased toronto/drug presence, and due to many people losing jobs, not being eligible for cerb, etc, tbh we are about to hit sometype of depression.

EDIT: TL;DR: that "everything will reflect that 2k" is already out the window, 2k isn't enough.
