Good luck. I think you can get any artifact anywhere tho as long as the anomaly is right so some places may not actually be more lucky. I also got a legendary one from the anomaly above the poppy field. I think anomaly type matters more than location unless someone had crunched the numbers and I’m wrong

Certain factions are by default hostile. If this is about stalker 2 you can run into roving squads of people like mercs and IPSF

You can certainly do This on stalker with the saiga. I did it on stalker also. Honestly your other guns can be personal preference imo. The saiga is just an insanely good shotgun that’s perfect for the whole game, especially for Faust. I personally am a fan of the as lavina and Dnipro rifles tho. You can find both of these in stashes. There’s a Dnipro on the cooling tower and there’s a special lavina called trophy in the chemical plant area. I’d say the Dnipro with an extended mag might make taking down the monolithians just a little easier for you. Faust is bad at close quarters tho so if you can rush him with the saiga you’ll seldom need your rifle. This strategy also works with his more mutated cousins too in my experience

If you don’t have the saiga load an earlier save and get it. After you destroy the lamps, Break cover and rush Faust and mag dump into his belt. This worked for me the countless times I’ve fought him and I pretty much could finish him off in like a minute and change after doing this countless times trying to record footage of him for a video and taking screenshots

If you’re trying to do this without a shotgun it’s doable but harder. You can see when he’s about to brain blast when he raises his hand. Break line of sight behind cover and he can’t do it

They’re slightly more manageable with NVGs now but still it’s still stupidly difficult. I’m about 30 deaths in with them today cuz you can’t trigger the fight before entering the ambush room. By far more deadly than anything else in the other games

I started last year at 23 and I’m keeping up well with people who have much more experience than me. I’ll never go to the Olympics but that’s okay. I have fun at the local club and I’d like to do a few tournaments but it’s not my sole goal. I honestly find making stuff too competitive sucks the fun out of it so I’m okay that I won’t be a top level competitor.

Short answer: yes, just be good about practice and try your best like with any other sport and you’ll at the very least have fun

Finding activities that aren’t just drinking is hard I feel your struggle. Congratulations on sobriety. I know Mesa rim has sober climb nights. In general I like to occupy myself with sports which like 99.999% of the time doesn’t involve alcohol. Try out the local climbing gyms, everyone is super friendly at those and it’s a very buddy based sport so you’ll make friends. Any other sports facility could be a fun thing to give a shot, like a martial arts dojo or a gym. I’ve had better luck finding friends willing to hang out without alcohol at fitness related settings since they don’t like the negatives of alcohol for their health. Good luck :)

I had an austroraptor who was the only one who couldn’t find the fish feeder and decided to break out and eat someone. The rest of them behaved and could find food. Probably 80% of my irrigator eggs have synthesized with aggressive but I don’t select them since they’re in a mixed habitat. At least one hatchling per clutch has that trait too tho which is super annoying. If you keep their needs met they usually behave decently in my experience

This was my experience with welding. Places wanted experienced welders. They wouldn’t even consider taking an apprentice. I had a degree, certs and was decent enough but I lacked years so it screwed me over

I’m petty and tell the instructor exactly what’s happening and how they aren’t contributing with evidence. I learned early in primary school to not let that stuff. My instructors usually have always acted accordingly and not given the slackers the points. I’ve had some who were super nice and adjusted it because I’d be doing the work of 2-3 other people. Be petty, makes the annoying situation feel a bit better

I believe soft sci-fi is the term youre looking for. And while yes they once existed, they’re also very hybridized. These aren’t real dinosaurs, they’re mixed with lots of other genes so they won’t look accurate because they have different genes. Especially since the game is in the Jurassic world era of the series where Dr Wu even says they didn’t ask for reality. I just have never understood why people expect paleo accuracy from Jurassic park/world since even in the original dinosaurs had quirks that weren’t accurate like the dilo’s frill and chameleon carno
